Case study: Here is the instance of Sashikala, an MBA, who joined a company as an executive. After working for a couple of years, one day, she did not report for work. She had not been relieved by her company either. An investigation revealed that she had joined another company. When the managing director of the second organisation was told what had happened, he directed her to go back and be discharged properly, failing which he would terminate her services.
