Dap, Npk Prices

Indian Farmers Fertiliser Co-operative (Iffco) yesterday announced continuation of the prices of di-ammonium phosphate (DAP) and NPK nutrients during the kharif 1998-99 season at the same level of rabi 1997-98. The maximum retail price (MRP) of Iffcos DAP would be Rs 8,300 per tonne, NPK (10:26:26) Rs 7300 per tonne and NPK (12:32:16) Rs 7,400 per tonne, a release said. It said several vested interests had been trying to misled farmers by creating confusion regarding increase of prices of NPK and DAP for the kharif season. The MRP is inclusive of freight and distribution margin of Rs 300 per tonne and exclusive of local taxes as applicable, it added.
