Dura-Line, Bharti Telecom Strike Alliance

Bharti Dura-Line, the new company, will be owned 50:50 by the partners. The project cost, estimated at Rs 20 crore, will be entirely funded by equity. The project will be a zero-debt project and we will consider borrowings as we grow and our requirements increase, said Sunil Mittal, chairman and group managing director of Bharti Enterprises.
The Goa plant will have an annual capacity of 10,000 km and will begin operations early next year. It will be the third emerging markets investment for Dura-Line.
