Analysts attribute the strong earnings growth to debottlenecking which came about as a result of a modernisation and technical upgradation drive.

Operating six manufacturing facilities, Esab Indias healthy financial performance augurs well for the future. In the welding electrodes industry where continuous technology upgradation and availability play an important part, the company has the advantage of falling back on its Swedish parent.

Another boost is the export orders which the company will generate once its parent sources the low-tech welding equipment from Esab India.

Further, the company also plans to buy components from its parent, and also trade in equipment manufactured by its associates abroad.

 

Thus with six new products of the gas cutting and welding technology to hit the markets soon and only Advani Oerlikon as its major competitor, the future looks bright for Esab India.
