Geometric Software Solutions Net Up 296%

Geometric Software Solutions, promoted by Jamshed Godrej, has reported a 296% rise in net profit to Rs 20.22 crore for the fiscal ended 31 March 2000, compared with Rs 5.11 crore in the corresponding period of the previous year. The total income of the company rose by 62% to Rs 33.31 crore during the fiscal from the previous 20.53 crore. The major part of the revenue originted from licensing which contributed 14.32% (43%) of the total revenues from the previous Rs 8.15 crore.
