Forty-one nations including India are expected to sign a $500 billion pact to remove tariffs in the booming global trade in information technology products by the year 2000, trade sources said.
They said Panama had announced it was joining the deal, shaped in December during a World Trade Organisation (WTO) ministerial meeting in Singapore, and the Czech Republic and Slovakia had promised to finalise their offers on Monday.
