Marginal Recovery

BSCAL

Equities staged a slight recovery yesterday in narrow dealings on the Calcutta stock exchange on revival of speculative buying and financial institutions interested demand on few counters. Financial institutions purchased heavy weighted shares before the end of the account as they were in an oversold position for the last few sessions.

In the specified list, gainers were ACC with gains at Rs 1054, Bata at Rs 96.70, H Motor at Rs 13, H Lever at Rs 1083, IPCL at Rs 116.50, JP Industries at Rs 14.15, L&T at Rs 206.30, ITC at Rs 429.20, Reckitt at Rs 262.50, Reliance at Rs 295.30, SBI (new) at Rs 305.10, Tata Tea at Rs 283, Tisco at Rs 168.50.
