Re Convertibility

European business consortiums and NRI industrialists have urged the Indian government to go in for full rupee convertibility soon and empower upcoming regulatory bodies to check rising incidence of scams. The European conglomerates, said full convertibility of rupee in the shortest possible time was an essential requisite for India to blend into free market global economy.
