Tamil Nadu Police arrests Vikram Aggarwal

Aggarwal had money dealings with Uttam C Jain, who is also known as Kitty, a bookie who also allegedly used the hotelier's hotel room for betting operations

The Tamil Nadu police today arrested hotelier Vikram Aggarwal, allegedly involved in match betting related to the Indian Premier League. An official said he had money dealings with Uttam C Jain, a bookie who allegedly used Aggarwal’s  hotel room for betting.

A Delhi court rapped the Delhi Police for slapping the stringent provisions of the Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act on cricketers S Sreesanth, Ankeet Chavan and 17 others and granted the accused bail in the IPL spot-fixing case.
