NSE REPORT
The Wholesale Debt Market (WDM) segment at the National Stock Exchange (NSE) clocked a trading volume of Rs 456.85 crore of which the treasury bills segment contributed to trade volume of Rs 38 crore.
There were two repo deals concluded for Rs 50 crore for a term of 14 days at the rate of 8.5 per cent and 8.6 per cent. The corporate debenture segment witnessed 352 trades, and clocked volume of Rs 40.89 lakh.

The 12.59 per cent government loan, maturing in 2004, was actively traded for Rs 60 crore, and showed 8 trades at the NSE screens.The paper was traded at the weighted average yield of 10.85 per cent with a low of 107.85 and high of Rs 107.95.
The 11 per cent government loan, maturing in 2002, was in demand, and was traded for Rs 40 crore at the weighted average yield of 10.58 per cent.
The 6 per cent capital index bond was traded for Rs 35 crore at the weighted average yield of 9.60 per cent.
The yield is arrived at by assuming that the annual inflation rate is 4.10 per cent. The yield on this paper has fallen sharply from 10.16 per cent as on December 31 to 9.60 per cent yesterday.
The 10.50 per cent gilts, maturing in 2007, was traded for Rs 40 crore at the weighted yield of 11.13 per cent.
