Airtel launches bouquet of new post-paid plans in J&K

Catering to the requirement of various segments of the cellular service users, Airtel, India's leading mobile phone service provider, has launched a bouquet of five new postpaid plans in the J&K Circle.

The chief operation officer (COO) of the company in the region said based on the customer usage patterns, these plans offered great value for money to the customer.

"The night plan comes at a rental of Rs 399 with a 50 per cent discount on calling and free SMS bonanza. Apart from the free calling value of Rs 399 per month, the customer gets a 50 per cent discount on local and STD calls from 10 pm to 6 am and throughout Sunday. Besides, the customers can enjoy the offer of unlimited free local SMS during the discount period, he said.

The COO further disclosed that the 'national roaming plan' and 'global advantage plan' have been introduced for the high usage customers on roaming. Bundled in power sized package, these plans allow users to enjoy freebies on various services.

"The national plan is available at a monthly rental of Rs 2,499 with 4000 minutes per month local calls, 200 minutes of STD calls free every month, 500 local/national SMS free every month and 500 minutes per month free while roaming both incoming and outgoing. The 'global advantage plan' is offered at a monthly rental of Rs 3,999 with a bouquet of advantages,'' he added.

He said if the customer is a high usage local or STD user, 'community plan' was the suitable option. At a monthly rental of Rs 995, the community plan comes with 4000 minutes per month local calls free to Airtel mobile and 1000 minutes per month STD calls free to Airtel mobile besides local and national SMS at the rate of Re 1 per SMS.

The uniform call tariff of Re 1 is applicable at a monthly rental of Rs 599, it comes with Rs 599 per month free calling value.

After exhaustion of free talk time, all the local and STD calls are charged at Re 1 per minute and local and national SMS at Re 1 per SMS. Besides, the customer gets 100 minutes free incoming on roaming, he added.
