BangaloreIT.in to leverage on ecosystem

BangaloreIT.in 2007, an annual IT and telecom event, organised by Karnataka government, in association with industry bodies, will be positioned as the 'Gateway to Asia' to provide countries and companies with business interests in Asia to leverage the Information and Communication Technologies (ICT) ecosystem of the nation.

"India is the only country in Asia to offer the entire gamut of services from low-end data entry to high-end analytics and R&D. India has been ranked the fastest-growing ICT market in the world for the third year running. In keeping with the changing needs of the industry, the theme of the IT event this year will be on leveraging Asia's unique ICT ecosystem," MN Vidyashankar, secretary (IT&BT), Karnataka, said.

Software Technology Parks of India Director J Parthasarathy said BangaloreIT.in 2007 will be a platform for participants to understand the IT ecosystem available in the country.

"The event will seek to outline emerging opportunities for joint collaboration with other countries in Asia," he added.

BangaloreIT.in 2007, the tenth edition of the event will be held between October 29 and November 1 at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre on Tumkur Road.
