Cognizant opens test centre in Bangalore

IT services firm Cognizant has announced opening of a test centre at its facility in Bangalore to build required test landscapes for SAP NetWeaver.

A company release said that Cognizant is making increased investments in SAP solutions to help customers realise the full potential of SAP's enterprise services architecture based on the SAP NetWeaver platform.

Global demand for services around the SAP NetWeaver platform is increasing significantly, as leading enterprises "� including SAP's global customer base of over 30,000 "� begin service-enabling their business processes. This is reflected in the growing demand for SAP NetWeaver from Cognizant's customers, specifically in the manufacturing and life sciences industry segments, it added.

"Based on this investment and Cognizant's expertise in systems and solutions and testing of a broad range of enterprise products, SAP determined that Cognizant is best-equipped to offer comprehensive testing services for SAP NetWeaver," said Heinz Haefner, senior vice president, NetWeaver Operations, SAP AG.
