Japanese information technology major Fujitsu is planning to expand its India operations, and is looking at over 50% growth for its personal computers and laptops.

Mikito Kiname, chief executive officer, Fujitsu India, said: "We are in the process of launching a marketing campaign for our enterprise business. This includes awareness building as well as tailor-made product launches for the Indian corporate sector this year."

The consolidated revenue of Fujitsu India and Fujitsu Consulting India for the financial year 2006-07 was $35 million (around Rs 140 crore).

Fujitsu India is also banking on its green policy innovation, which is its range of energy efficient products. "As we innovate products and services for our consumers in India, we are trying to leverage information technology to reduce carbon dioxide by over seven million tonne between FY2007 and 2010," Kiname added.
