| Wipro has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Sastra University, Thanjavur, to take its ongoing collaboration with the institution to the next level. |
| Wipro, which had chosen to partner Sastra University, an engineering institute, had entered into a memorandum of understanding, with the objective of "building industry-academia relationship and empowering the students to gear up for challenges of the corporate world," Chandrasekhar Dharuman, vice-president, Wipro, Technologies said in a statement today. |
| The MoU envisages a set of planned activities and interactions addressing the various stakeholders, namely students, faculty and management, a release from Wipro said. |
| These activities and interactions include faculty development programmes, technical sponsorships, students workshop, among others, it added. |
