After eight seasons of anticipation, on-off couple Penny and Leonard, played by Kaley Cuoco-Sweeting and Johnny Galecki, are finally man and wife on "The Big Bang Theory" after they exchanged wedding vows during a Las Vegas ceremony.
	The pair headed to the entertainment capital of the world to tie the knot in the season nine premiere of the hit sit-com.
	But things were not all rosy for the couple as it got complicated when Leonard confessed that he had kissed another girl, which almost jeopardised the wedding.

Ryan Reynolds has revealed that he had to cut ties with a very close friend after the actor got to know that he was shopping  photos of his baby daughter, James.
	"A guy that I'd known for my whole life, one of my closest friends growing up, he had been shopping pictures of my baby around. I kind of got in front of it, which is good. But it was slightly dark period. A bad couple of weeks," Reynolds revealed in the October 2015 issue of GQ.
	The 38-year-old actor, who is raising 9-month-old James with wife Blake Lively, said it hurt him that the guy was his childhood friend.

"Slumdog Millionaire" co-stars and former couple Freida Pinto and Dev Patel reunited here to support a charitable organisation.
	Pinto, 30, and the 25-year-old "Chappie" actor showed their support for Pratham, which is committed to ending the cycle of poverty by improving the education and literacy rates of children in India, reported E! Online.
	The duo was on a panel together and mingled with guests. They also participated in the live auction helping raise money in the most successful Pratham Gala to date.

Veteran actor Naseeruddin Shah was admitted to a hospital after he complained of allergy and breathing problems.
	Shah, 66, was attending an acting workshop at IIT Kanpur, when he developed sudden allergy and complained of breathing problems. He was taken to a private hospital, here, and was discharged after few hours.
	"The doctor checked his chest and did an ECG test to monitor his health. The report was normal. He was then given medicines for allergy and breathing troubles. He was discharged from the hospital after three hours and was taken to IIT guest house," CP Singh, deputy registrar of administration, IIT, said.
	The actor is fine now and is set to attend the students' workshop.
	Shah was recently seen as 'Wanted Bhai' in Anees Bazmee's multi-starrer comedy "Welcome Back".

Rock band Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl has claimed the group's scheduled performance at the 67th Primetime Emmy Awards was cancelled by TV channel Fox, which aired the ceremony.
	The set was nixed because the channel "refused to allow the band to play a full song from its Emmy-winning docuseries 'Sonic Highways," according to a statement of Foo Fighters, reported the Rolling Stone.
	"Foo Fighters: Sonic Highways", directed by Grohl and written by Mark Monroe, was made concurrently with the band's eighth album, "Sonic Highways".
	Each of the eight episodes of the series was presented as an exploration of the musical history of a different American city through a series of interviews by Grohl.
	"The band and the Academy were extremely happy and excited to have Foo Fighters play as the first ever rock band on the Emmys.

Comedy heroes do not get their due in industry: Akshay Kumar

Actress Annie Potts has been roped in to do a cameo in the new "Ghostbusters" film, which also stars Bill Murray and Dan Aykroyd.
	62-year-old Potts, who played the deadpan receptionist Janine Melnitz in the original 1984 movie and its sequel in 1989, is playing a hotel receptionist in the upcoming movie, according to Digital Spy.
	Melnitz's equivalent character will be played in the new adaptation by Chris Hemsworth, who takes on the role of Kevin.
	Potts follows in the footsteps of fellow star Ernie Hudson, who was seen shooting scenes on the reboot on Saturday.
	The Paul Feig-directed film stars Melissa McCarthy, Kristen Wiig, Kate McKinnon and Leslie Jones as the "Ghostbusters".
