Pharrell Williams says everyone should be able to celebrate their joy including Iranian youths who were arrested for posting an Internet video of them dancing to his song "Happy."
	Some in Iran see the video as promoting the spread of Western culture. Iranian laws ban women from dancing in public or appearing outside with their heads uncovered.
	Williams says he has "the utmost respect for people's religious views" and doesn't know much about Iranian law. But he added: "The present is a gift, and if you just want to celebrate your happiness, you should be allowed to do that." Speaking at an exhibit opening in Paris yesterday, he said, "They are just dancing."
	Fans have posted similar "Happy" videos from around the world, showing people dancing down streets.

Swedish music streaming service Spotify today said its system had been attacked by a hacker, but that banking or payment data had not been accessed.
	"We detected unauthorised access to our systems and internal company data," the firm said in a statement.
	"As soon as we became aware of the intrusion, we immediately launched an investigation."
	Spotify explained that only the data of one user had been affected, but that these did not include any passwords or banking and payment information.
	The company said that it would update its Android application in the next days and ask some of its users to reenter their user name and password to log in.
	Spotify claims to have 40 million active users in 56 countries including 10 million premium customers.

Emma Watson had an undercover armed guard with her during graduation ceremonies at Brown University, and a university spokesman says he is unable to answer questions about why.
	The 24-year-old British actress best known for her role as Hermione Granger in the "Harry Potter" movies was one of more than 2,000 students to get her degree from the Ivy League university in Providence on Sunday.
	She was photographed sitting and walking next to a woman who was wearing a cap and gown. The same woman, who was older than Watson and her fellow graduates, was later seen escorting Watson without a cap and gown and with a holstered weapon, a badge and other equipment.
	Providence Public Safety Commissioner Steven Pare says the woman is not a Providence officer.
	When asked if the woman was a campus police officer and why the guard was necessary, Brown spokesman Mark Nickel said today he was "not able to help."

Queen are to release new tracks featuring Freddie Mercury's vocals by the end of the year, the British rock group's guitarist Brian May said.
	The songs, dating back to the 1980s, will be released on a compilation album, May told BBC radio.
	Lead singer Mercury died of AIDS-related pneumonia in 1991. Four years later, Queen released "Made In Heaven", their final studio album with the iconic frontman, painstakingly constructing some fresh songs from lines of vocals he left behind.
	But May said more tapes in the vault had come to light.
	"We found a few more tracks with Freddie singing and all of us playing, and they're quite beautiful, so people will be hearing this work towards the end of the year," the 66-year-old said.
	"We're going to put out an album which probably is called 'Queen Forever', and it's a compilation, but it will have this new material on which nobody in the world has ever heard. And I think people will really enjoy it."

	"Paul has really been through the mill. He was desperately sad he had to cancel those shows but he was really poorly. But he is on the mend which is great news," a source said.

	Paul cancelled a total of five concerts in Japan and South Korea.

Director Quentin Tarantino reportedly wants to make a TV mini-series from the unseen footage from 'Django Unchained'.
	The director, who was in the Cannes recently to celebrate the 20th anniversary of 'Pulp Fiction'. The director told an audience that he would like to release a miniseries of his 2012 film that won him an Oscar for best screenplay, reported USA Today.
	"My idea, frankly, is to cut together a four-hour version of 'Django Unchained'. But I wouldn't show it like a four-hour movie. I would cut it up into hour chapters. Like a four-part miniseries. And show it on cable television. Show it like an hour at a time, each chapter," Tarantino said.
	The film, starring Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio and Kerry Washington, was two hours and 45 minutes long but Tarantino had to still cut many scenes from the movie.
	"People roll their eyes at a four-hour movie. But a four-hour miniseries that they like, then they are dying to watch all four parts. That's how I thought it could work," .
