All about the 2026 RRB group D
Approx. 52.39 lakh people sat for this exam across staggered shifts through August, all competing for 22,195 Level-1 posts spread across the railway zones.
The answer key is merely the initial step in a predetermined order. A Provisional key, expert review, objection phase, final key, result, Physical Efficiency Test, Document Verification, and medical exam. RRB examines each legitimate challenge after the objection window closes, releases the updated final key, and bases the results on that final version rather than the provisional one.
Expectations vary on timing; some expect the result in October 2026, while others postpone it until November. RRB has not agreed to a date. Watch your RRB website for the PET/DV schedule, cut-off marks, and results announcement.
