Bhopal is one of the constituencies in 29-seat Madhya Pradesh. At the time of the previous Lok Sabha elections in 2014, Bhopal had 1,956,936 registered electors -- 1,039,004 of them male and 917,932 female. The constituency had seen a 57.75% voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In Bhopal the male voter turnout was 61.57% and 53.44% female voters turned out for voting.
