Ludhiana is one of the constituencies in 13-seat Punjab. At the time of the previous Lok Sabha elections in 2014, Ludhiana had 1,561,201 registered electors -- 835,632 of them male and 725,569 female. The constituency had seen a 70.49% voter turnout in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections. In Ludhiana the male voter turnout was 71.92% and 68.84% female voters turned out for voting.
