The Kanpur Lok Sabha Constituency of UTTAR PRADESH state is currently held by Dr Murli Manohar Joshi of BJP. In the 2014 Lok Sabha Elections, Dr Murli Manohar Joshi beat Sriprakash Jaiswal of CONGRESS by receiving 56.80 per cent of the votes cast in this constituency.
