BJP playing with Constitution, country's sentiments: Akhilesh Yadav on CAA

Lucknow (Uttar Pradesh), Jan 03 (ANI): While addressing a press conference in Uttar Pradesh's Lucknow on January 03, the former chief minister of UP and National President of Samajwadi Party (SP) Akhilesh Yadav spoke on CAA and NPR. He said, "Samajwadi Party gave the slogan that we don't need National Population Register (NPR) but we need 'rojgaar' (employment)." "The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) people are intentionally doing discussions on NPR, Citizenship Amendment Act (CAA). They have played with the Constitution and sentiments of the country," he added. "Each and every citizen of our country knows that BJP is taking all these decisions to divide the society as their political benefit is fulfilled by that," Akhilesh Yadav added.
