The Delhi Police will likely file the charge sheet in connection with the case of assault on AAP MP Swati Maliwal, allegedly by Delhi Chief minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar, on Tuesday at a local court, official sources said. Police have almost concluded the investigation and they are ready to file the charge sheet against Kumar at Tis Hazari court, sources said. According to them, police have prepared an over 1,000-page charge sheet with the security staff, who were deployed at the residence of Arvind Kejriwal, when the alleged incident took place, as witnesses. Police have collected the DVR from Kerjriwal's residence and seized several gadgets, including Kumar's two mobile phones. Kumar was taken to Mumbai twice during his police custody to recover the allegedly deleted data from his mobile phones. Maliwal has alleged that she was assaulted by Kumar when she had gone to meet the CM at his residence on May 13. On Maliwal's complaint, police had booked Kumar under sec
Tihar jail authorities on Monday said Arvind Kejriwal lost only 2 kg in prison and that he was being regularly monitored by an AIIMS medical board, refuting the AAP's claims that the Delhi chief minister's health was deteriorating. In a report sent to the Delhi government's Home Department, the Tihar administration shared Kejriwal's vitals and said that the narrative created by AAP ministers and leaders "confuses and misleads the public". Meanwhile, senior AAP leader Sanjay Singh said the report "leaked" by the prison authorities showed that Kejriwal lost weight and suffered multiple hypoglycemia episodes in jail due to which "something untoward" could happen. Since Kejriwal's arrest in the excise policy-linked money laundering case on March 21, the AAP and the Tihar jail administration have been at loggerheads over his health condition. Singh had on Saturday claimed that Kejriwal lost 8.5 kg in prison and this could be a sign of some serious ailment. He had also claimed that the .

The Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday alleged that there was an "acute" danger to Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's health in judicial custody. Addressing a press conference here, Delhi cabinet minister Atishi said Kejriwal, who is a severe diabetic, has had his sugar levels falling dangerously low. "The BJP has conspired to put Kejriwal in jail in a fake case. There is an acute danger to his health. His weight has declined by 8.5 kgs and his sugar levels have fallen below 50 five times in sleep. This is a worrying situation especially for a diabetic," she said. "If Kejriwal suffers a stroke, if there is brain damage and permanent damage, who will be responsible," she said, claiming the AAP chief is unable to get proper medical attention as he is in jail. When the minister was asked whether they would approach court over the matter, she said they are consulting their lawyers and doctors over the issue. "The BJP should know that if anything happens to Arvind Kejriwal, not just the cou
The BJP and its government at the Centre are playing with the life of Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal who has lost 8.5 kg and whose blood sugar level dropped below 50 mg/dL five times while in jail, AAP Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh claimed on Saturday. There was no immediate reaction from the BJP on his claims. "His health condition is such that if he is not brought out of jail soon and provided medical care, any serious incident may happen with him," Singh said at a press conference here. He said Kejriwal's weight was 70 kg when he was arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) on March 21 in the excise policy-linked money laundering case. Now, his weight has reduced to 61.5 kg, he claimed. The reason for this constant loss of his weight is unknown as no tests could have been conducted. This weight loss is sign of some serious ailment, Singh claimed. He said Kejriwal's family, the AAP and his well wishers were concerned about his health condition in jail. "The aim of

The Delhi High Court on Friday denied bail to Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's aide Bibhav Kumar who is accused of assaulting AAP Rajya Sabha member Swati Maliwal. An FIR was registered against Kumar on May 16 under various provisions of the Indian Penal Code, including those related to criminal intimidation, assault or criminal force on a woman with the intent to disrobe, and attempt to commit culpable homicide. The Enforcement Directorate, in its supplementary chargesheet, has named Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal as the key conspirator in money laundering related to the Delhi Excise Policy Case.
The Delhi High Court on Thursday listed for hearing on September 9 Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal's petition challenging the summonses issued to him by the Enforcement Directorate in connection with its probe into an excise policy-linked money laundering case. A bench headed by Justice Prathiba M Singh granted four more weeks to the AAP leader to file a rejoinder to the reply submitted by the ED. The senior counsel, appearing for Kejriwal, sought more time to file the rejoinder saying there are certain changes in the circumstances and they have not been given a proper legal interview, a plea for which is pending in the high court. "Let the rejoinder be filed in four weeks," the bench, also comprising Justice Amit Sharma, said. The counsel for the ED had earlier said the petition against the summonses was infructuous after Kejriwal's arrest by the agency on March 21 in the money laundering case following the high court's refusal to grant him interim protection from coercive action.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal "directly used" part of the alleged Rs 100 crore generated from the "kickbacks" of the Delhi excise policy "scam" by staying in a luxury hotel in Goa, the ED has claimed in its charge sheet filed against the AAP supremo. The federal probe agency also said the GoM (Group of Ministers) constituted by his government in this context was a "sham". A special Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) court on Tuesday took cognisance of the prosecution complaint, filed on May 17, and issued a production warrant for the jailed Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leader for July 12. The 55-year-old politician and the AAP have been named as accused in this seventh supplementary charge sheet filed in the case. The high court had earlier stayed the trial court's June 20 order by which Kejriwal was granted bail in the case. Justice Neena Bansal Krishna, who was scheduled to hear the plea, was informed by the counsel for the Enforcement Directorate (ED) that they were served with Kejriwal's reply to their petition only late Tuesday night and the agency requires some time to file a rejoinder. While the probe agency's lawyer submitted that the copy of the reply was served to them at 11 PM on Tuesday, Kejriwal's counsel maintained that it was served to the investigating officer (IO) of the case at 1 PM.
