Four persons were killed and three others seriously injured when a truck collided with a car and then rammed into a tea stall in Bihar's Katihar district in the early hours of Monday. The accident took place when the urea-laden truck hit the car, coming from the opposite direction on NH 31, and then rammed into the roadside stall, Kursela Police Station SHO Chittaranjan Kumar said. The truck was on its way to Purnea while the car was proceeding to Khagaria when the incident occurred between 2AM to 4AM, near a State Bank of India branch on Kursela chowk. A minibus caught fire on Dufferin Road in central Kolkata on Monday noon but there was no report of any casualty. As the bus was running, some passengers saw smoke coming out of the minibus and raised an alarm. Within a short time, the fire spread inside the vehicle. The fire was brought under control within 25-30 minutes, a Fire Brigade official said. The minibus, which was coming from Howrah and headed for Metiabruz, was badly damaged.
