Emergency services say that a train has derailed on a local railway in Austria and several people are injured. Franz Resperger, a spokesman for the fire service in Lower Austria province, told the Austria Press Agency that two of the train's carriages tipped over in the accident Tuesday morning in Gerersdorf, just outside St. Poelten, west of Vienna. Dozens of people were on board at the time. The train belongs to the Mariazellerbahn, a local narrow-gauge railway.

All the victims were rushed to a hospital in Bokaro but doctors declared them brought dead. In another incident, a girl sustained severe burn injuries when she was struck by lightning in Jara village in the district. She suffered 65 per cent burn injuries and was admitted to the Bokaro General Hospital, the police said. A low-intensity quake shook Himachal Pradesh's Chamba district this morning. No loss of life or property has been reported. The Meteorological Department said the quake of 3.3 magnitude occurred at 1: 45 am. The epicentre of the quake was at the depth of 10 km in northeast of Chamba.Mild tremors were also felt in adjoining areas. This is the fourth quake in the state in the last 12 days. A fire broke out today at a tent house in south Delhi's Asola area, a senior officer from the Delhi Fire Services said. A call about the blaze was received at 4.40 pm and 20 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. The fire was doused by 7.50 pm, he added. No casualties were reported. The government has approved the construction of over 3.18 lakh more affordable houses in urban areas under the PMAY (U), taking the total to 51 lakh units, the Housing and Urban Affairs (HUA) Ministry said today. The latest approval entails an investment of Rs 8,692 crore with central assistance of Rs 3,782 crore for 308 projects in six states and Union territories, the ministry said in a release. Maharashtra has been sanctioned over 2.48 lakh houses, followed by Rajasthan 31,304 houses, Tamil Nadu 23,564, Chhattisgarh 13,889, Puducherry 1,580 and Daman and Diu 203 houses. With the latest approvals, the cumulative houses being partially funded under the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (Urban) would be over 51 lakh houses, the ministry said. Launched in June 2015, the government targets to construct around 1.2 crore houses for urban poor by 2022 under the PMAY(U).
