Andrea Riseborough, Dane DeHaan to star in 'ZeroZeroZero'
Actors Dane Dehaan and Andrea Riseborough have joined the cast of cocaine drama series "ZeroZeroZero". The eight-episode series, which is an adaptation of the book by Roberto Saviano, will be directed by Stefano Sollima, reported Variety. It will also star Gabriel Bryne, Harold Torres, Giuseppe De Domenico, Francesco Colella and Tcheky Karyo. "ZeroZeroZero" will follow a shipment of cocaine from the America to Europe. It will look at the different groups of power-hungry criminals, including Mexican cartels and the Calabrian mafia, and the corrupt businessmen fighting for control of the cocaine trade. The show is developed by the same creative team behind hit TV series "Gomorrah", Leonardo Fasoli, Stefano Bises, Saviano and Sollima, and is written by co-head writers Fasoli and Mauricio Katz. In addition to Sollima, the series will also be directed by Pablo Trapero and Janus Metz.
'Grey's Anatomy' renewed for 15th season
Popular TV show "Grey's Anatomy" will be returning with its fifteenth season. The announcement was made by ABC Studios. The show will become ABC's longest-running primetime scripted series, overtaking 1952 sitcom "The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriett", which aired for 14 seasons. It follows Meredith Grey (played by Ellen Pompeo) and the team of doctors at Grey Sloan Memorial who are faced with life-or-death decisions on a daily basis. They seek comfort from one another, and, at times, more than just friendship. Together they discover that neither medicine nor relationships can be defined in black and white. Sophia Lillis to play Nancy Drew in film adaptation
"It" actor Sophia Lillis has been roped in to play teen detective Nancy Drew in Warner Bros' movie adaptation of "Nancy Drew and the Hidden Staircase." Ellen DeGeneres and Jeff Kleeman are producing the project through their A Very Good Production company, along with Chip Diggins, reported Variety. Filming on the project is expected to start in May. The story, first published in 1930, was written by Mildred Wirt Benson. Warner Bros also made a film adaptation of the book in 1939, starring Bonita Granville. The story revolves around a pair of elderly sisters and their strange experiences in their Victorian-era house, leading to the duo being accused of murder. Nancy must act quickly to save the sisters from jail. Warner Bros also released 2007's "Nancy Drew," starring Emma Roberts as Nancy Drew, Josh Flitter, and Max Thieriot.
