Megastar Amitabh Bachchan recorded a song for his upcoming film "102 Not Out" despite "medical procedures". The 75-year-old actor took to Twitter and his official blog to share the pictures from the recording studio. "The world of music knows no boundaries and no rest. Despite late hours and medical procedures. 102NotOut there is an additional song now. I mean, how can production push a non-singer to these limits.... BAADDUUMMBAAAA," Bachchan tweeted. On his blog the actor said music for him is "the essence of life". Mike Shinoda clueless about Linkin Park's future

Linkin Park co-founder Mike Shinoda has said he does not have any idea about what the future holds for the band after the death of front man Chester Bennington, who tragically took his own life in July aged 41. The rock star had previously insisted the group would continue together but he has now revealed he does not have an ''answer'' to fans asking about their new music. ''I'm unable to say what will happen with the band. There's really just no answer, and it's funny because if I even say anything about the band's future, that becomes the headline, which is stupid because the answer is there is no answer. ''Fans think they want to know what the future is: Believe me, I want to know what the answer is. But there just isn't one," Shinoda told Vulture magazine. It was recently announced that the 40-year-old musician will be releasing his new music and performing tracks from his recent EP "Post Traumatic" as he makes his first solo appearance at Reading and Leeds Festivals.

Tracy Morgan joins 'What Men Want' cast

Comedian Tracy Morgan is set to star along side Taraji P Henson in "What Men Want". Adam Shankman is directing the film, which is inspired by Nancy Meyers' 2000 rom-com, "What Women Want," reported Variety. Will Packer and James Lopez are producing and Shankman executive producing the project. The original featured Mel Gibson as a marketing executive who suddenly has the ability to hear what women are thinking after a freak accident. In the remake, the roles are reversed, with Henson playing sports agent who has been constantly boxed out by her male colleagues. When she gains the power to hear men's thoughts, she is able to shift the paradigm to her advantage as she races to sign the NBA's next superstar. The movie is scheduled to release on January 11, 2019.

4-day theatre festival concludes in Kashmir

Dhoni, Pankaj Advani presented Padma Bhushan at Rashtrapati Bhavan ceremony

Former India cricket captain M S Dhoni, ace cueist Pankaj Advani and actor Manoj Joshi were among several noted personalities who received the Padma awards from President Ram Nath Kovind at a ceremony here today. Dressed in an Army uniform, Dhoni marched to the dais to receive Padma Bhushan from the president amid a huge round of applause from the audience. Dhoni was conferred with the honorary rank of Lieutenant Colonel by the Indian territorial Army in 2011. Besides Dhoni and Advani, folk artist Sharda Sinha, contemporary Indian artist Laxman Pai and former Ambassador of Russia to India, Alexander Kadakin (posthumously), were also presented with the Padma Bhushan, the country's third-highest civilian award after Bharat Ratna and Padma Vibhushan, by Kovind. The president presented five Padma Bhushan and 38 Padma Shri awards at the civil investiture ceremony held at the Durbar Hall of the Rashtrapati Bhavan.
