Elton John reschedules tour dates
Music legend Elton John has rescheduled the tour performances that falls on May 19, the day of Prince Harry and his bride-to-be Meghan Markle's wedding. John was slated to have two performances in Las Vegas, that were originally set for May 18 and 19, but the singer has preponed both the gigs to May 6 and 16, leading to speculations that he might be attending the royal wedding. "Due to a scheduling conflict, Elton John has rescheduled the Friday, May 18 and Saturday, May 19 performances of 'The Million Dollar Piano' at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace to Sunday, May 6 and Wednesday, May 16," a statement on his official website stated. However, the Rocket Man singer has yet to confirm whether he will be attending the royal wedding. Veteran Odia actor Mahasweta Ray today joined the BJP in the presence of senior leaders, including Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan, at the party headquarters here. "I joined the BJP as I was influenced by the ideology of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. I do not know anything about the ideology of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik," Ray said in an apparent dig at the CM.
