"Gossip Girl" alum Chace Crawford is set to star opposite Lilly Collins in thriller "Inheritance". According to the Hollywood Reporter, Vaughn Stein is directing the indie project. The film also features Simon Pegg, Connie Nielsen and Patrick Warburton. Matthew Kennedy has penned the script, which revolves around a woman (Collins) whose father, the patriarch of a wealthy and powerful political family passes away. He leaves his daughter an envelope containing directions to a cabin where she finds an imprisoned man, opening the door to secrets that will threaten to unravel and destroy their lives and everyone around them. Crawford will play Collins' brother. Richard B Lewis is producing the project via Southpaw Entertainment with David Wulf.
Alanis Morissette expecting third child
Singer Alanis Morissette and her husband Mario "Souleye" Treadway are set to welcome their third child together. The 44-year-old singer, who is currently working on new music, shared the news on Instagram Monday, along side a black-and-white picture of herself from the side. "So much newness...." she captioned the photo. Morissette and Treadway, who tied the knot in May 2010, are already parents to a son and daughter. They welcomed Ever Imre on Christmas Day 2010, while his little sister Onyx Solace was born in June 2016.

'Bohemian Rhapsody' released in China without LGBTQ+ scenes
Queen biopic "Bohemian Rhapsody" has released in China but with all the scenes with references to Freddie Mercury's sexuality or explicit physical contact between men have been removed. Rami Malek played the role of the Queen frontman in the film and won his first Best Actor Oscar for his performance. According to CNN, the censorship reportedly includes cutting any mention of the word "gay" from the film, as well as excising a scene in which the actors recreate the filming of the "I Want to Break Free" music video, which famously features Mercury and the other members of Queen in drag, satirizing bored housewives. It also cuts the major interactions between Mercury and his long-term partner Jim Hutton (Aaron McCusker). Actor Michael B Jordon is set to lead the cast of Warner Bros' upcoming "Methuselah" movie. The "Creed" star will also be serving as the producer on the project, reported Variety. The studio has been working on the film for many years with Will Smith and Tom Cruise interested in the project. Zach Dean wrote an early script after coming on board in 2014. The latest draft is written by Tony Gilroy. The story centres on the longest-living figure in the Bible, Methuselah, who is the son of Enoch. Jordan is also set to star in and produce the Denzel Washington-directed memoir "Journal for Jordan" and is currently busy with the pre-production on the Tom Clancy adaptation "Without Remorse".

The Congress on Monday moved the Election Commission to stall the release of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's biopic on the grounds that it is a politically-motivated film aimed at getting extra mileage for the BJP in the Lok Sabha polls. Omung Kumar-directed film 'PM Narendra Modi' starring Vivek Oberoi is slated for release on April 5, just before the general election begins from April 11.
