Chuddies,the Indian English word for underwear, is among 650 new entries recognised as official English words by the definitive Oxford English Dictionary' (OED) in a latest update released on Thursday. Chuddies, made popular in the UK by the popular sitcom starring Britisn Indian actors Meera Syal and Sanjeev Bhaskar Goodness Gracious Me', is defined as short trousers, shorts. Now usually: underwear, underpants. Keanu Reeves, Alex Winter confirm 'Bill & Ted 3'

Actors Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter have officially announced that they are coming back for the third installment of their "Bill & Ted" franchise. In a video, shared by production banner Orion Pictures, the two actors said that the much-awaited will started shooting this summer. They also expressed their gratitude to the fans who have stood by them for years. The threequel has been titled "Bill and Ted Face the Music" and it will release in the US on August 21, 2020. Robert Pattinson, Elizabeth Debicki join Christopher Nolan's next

Actors Robert Pattinson and Elizabeth Debicki have boarded the cast of Christopher Nolan's next directorial venture. According to The Hollywood Reporter, the two actors join "BlacKkKlansman" star John David Washington in the project, which is being described as an "event film". Pattinson is currently awaiting the release of Claire Denis' "High Life", while Debicki most recently featured in Steve McQueen-directed heist film "Widows". Nolan is also producing the new project along with his partner Emma Thomas. The plot details and the film's title are currently under wraps. Warner Bros earlier announced that Nolan's upcoming untitled film will open in IMAX on July 17, 2020. Nolan's last release was World War II drama "Dunkirk", which won three Academy Awards and earned the filmmaker his first best director Oscar nod.

Ryan Phillippe to star in pilot of CBS' 'Alive'

Actor Ryan Phillipe will headline the pilot episode of the potential CBS series, "Alive". The project, which was earlier titled "Frankenstein", will feature the 44-year-old actor as Mark Escher, a San Francisco police investigator who was presumed dead after an attack and destructive fire at his home. Escher, however, reappears and is reunited with his wife, Elizabeth, six months later. But something has changed. A shadow has fallen across his sunny disposition, and he's haunted by visions of the case he was working on when he died. He and Elizabeth will seek answers about who shot and abducted him, and what was done to him. The pilot will also feature actors Saidah Arrika Ekulona, Katrina Law and Aaron Staton, reported Variety. The show hails from writer and executive producer Jason Tracey. Uta Briesewitz will direct the pilot and executive produce alongside Rob Doherty.

Jon Snow's death sent Kit Harington to therapy

"Game of Thrones" star Kit Harington says he had to resort to therapy to deal with his character Jon Snow's death in the show. Jon Snow, one of the pivotal characters of HBO's epic fantasy show, was killed at the end of season five, and Harington, in an interview with Variety, said it was his "darkest time" till the character was resurrected in the next season. "It wasn't a very good time in my life. I felt I had to feel that I was the most fortunate person in the world, when actually, I felt very vulnerable. I had a shaky time in my life around there - like I think a lot of people do in their 20s," the actor said. "That was a time when I started therapy, and started talking to people. Actor Anya Taylor Joy will be starring in Netflix's new series "The Queen's Gambit". The show, based on Walter Tevis's novel of the same name, hails from "Godless" creator Scott Frank, the streaming giant said in a statement. Set during the Cold War era, the story follows Beth Harmon (Taylor-Joy) from the age of eight to twenty-two, as she struggles with addiction in a quest to become the greatest chess player in the world.
