'PM Narendra Modi' to now release on April 5
The release of Vivek Oberoi-starrer biographical drama on Prime Minister Narendra Modi has been preponed by a week and and the film will now open on April 5, the makers announced Tuesday. "PM Narendra Modi" was earlier scheduled to hit the theatres on April 12. "We are bringing this film a week early on public demand. There is a lot of love and anticipation among the people and we don't want them to wait longer. This is a story of 1.3 billion people and I can't wait to show it to them," film's producer Sandip Ssingh said in a statement. Directed by Omung Kumar, the biopic will traverse the journey of Modi from his beginnings to his years as chief minister onto his landmark win at the 2014 general election and being nominated as prime minister. Jharkhand man faces music for cheating 'Indian Idol' singer
A 22-year-old man was arrested Monday from Jharkhand for allegedly cheating an 'Indian Idol' participant of Rs 1.7 lakh on the pretext of debit card verification by posing as a bank executive, police said. The accused, Rajkumar Jaynarayan Mandal, was arrested by the Sion police with the help of Cyber Cell of the Mumbai police, an official said. Mandal had phoned Avanti Patel (23), who participated in the singing reality show 'Indian Idol' last year, and her sister posing as an executive of a public sector bank, he said. While talking to them, the accused obtained their bank details and debt card passwords. He then fraudulently withdrew Rs 1.7 lakh from Patel's and her sister's accounts and transferred the money to other bank accounts and Paytm, a digital wallet, he said. The incident came to light when the singer realised that she has been cheated and lodged a complaint with the Sion police, the official said. MySpace has reportedly lost a lot of songs, possibly in millions, uploaded over 12 years during a server migration.Due to a server migration project, photos, videos, and audio files which were uploaded by users more than three years ago are no longer available on MySpace, Cnet reported.Now, one of the people behind Kickstarter, Andy Baio, said that it meant the MySpace lost over 50 million songs, which were uploaded between August 2003 and 2015, from 14 million artists.
