Madhya Pradesh culture department's Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Shrivastava has been given an additional charge of vice chancellor of the Raja Mansingh Tomar Music and Arts University at Gwalior. The order to this effect was issued Wednesday evening by Governor and Chancellor of state universities Anandiben Patel, a Public Relations department official said Thursday. The governor also appointed Dr Jayant Sonwalkar as vice chancellor of the Madhya Pradesh Bhoj Open University at Bhopal, he said. Sonwalkar is currently professor and head of the department of journalism and mass communication at the Devi Ahilya Vishwavidyalalya at Indore. He will remain vice chancellor for four-year term or till the age of 65 years, whichever is earlier, the official added.
