Gwyneth Paltrow, Brad Falchuk get married

Actor Gwyneth Paltrow and writer-producer Brad Falchuk tied the knot Saturday. The couple, who have been in a relationship for four years, exchanged vows in a private wedding ceremony in the Hamptons, People magazine reported. The wedding comes days after Paltrow celebrated her 46th birthday. Falchuk, 46, was photographed earlier in the day as he drove himself in his red car for the nuptials. Guests included Jerry Seinfeld, Steven Spielberg, Cameron Diaz and her husband Benji Madden. Paltrow's "Iron Man" co-star Robert Downey Jr was also spotted at the ceremony. The actor and "Glee" co-creator announced their engagement in January. Paltrow was previously married to Coldplay frontman Chris Martin. They have daughter Apple and son Moses together. Falchuk has two children with former wife Suzanne Bukinik - Brody and Isabella.

Rishi Kapoor flies to US for medical treatment

Veteran actor Rishi Kapoor Saturday said he was leaving for the US to seek medical treatment and will be away from work for some time. The 66-year-old actor took to Twitter to share the news, saying after facing over four decades of "wear and tear" in the showbiz, the check-up was a much needed engagement. "I am taking a short leave of absence from work to go to America for some medical treatment... It's been 45 years 'plus' of wear and tear at the movies," Kapoor wrote. The "Mulk" star urged well-wishers not to worry or unnecessarily speculate. "With your love and good wishes, I will be back soon," he added. On the work front, Kapoor's "Rajma Chawal" is set to start streaming worldwide on Netflix from November 30. The actor will soon reunite with longtime co-star Juhi Chawla for a family comedy.

Rooney Mara follows her instincts in choosing films

Actor Rooney Mara says she follows her instincts when it comes to selecting a project. The 35-year-old actor said that she chooses to listen to her gut when she is offered a script. "I can't say how I choose roles, it's just a feeling or instinct about certain things. I am sure a lot of it is subconscious - choosing things you want to explore or get out of your system. I wouldn't say I could play any role - not well anyway," Mara told Hello Magazine. The "Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" star revealed that she hates to see her films. "I don't have a favourite. "Game of Thrones" star Richard Madden has said that he despises being called a "hunk" as it shifts people's focus from his acting to his looks. The 32-year-old actor told The Daily Star that the tag undermines him as an actor. "I worry about it affecting my job. If people go, 'Oh, you know, he's that hunky thing', that undermines that actually I am an actor," Madden said. The actor also revealed his plans of buying a piece of land, so as to escape the stardom he started enjoying after starring in the hit HBO show. Naomi Campbell 'disappointed' by Nicki Minaj-Cardi B fight

Supermodel Naomi Campbell has weighed upon the ugly fight between rappers Cardi B and Nicki Minaj, saying she was "disappointed" by it. The two rapper had come to blows at a fashion week event in New York City earlier this month. During an appearance on "Watch What Happens Live", Campbell said it was disheartening to see women of colour fighting with each other. "I don't want to see women of colour fight. I don't want to see women fight period. Not there, not that. It's all music. There's no division of music. Music's for everybody, there's no discrimination, so I felt very disappointed," she said. Tennis superstar Serena Williams caused an internet sensation Sunday by posing topless for a video while singing "I Touch Myself" to raise awareness for breast cancer. In the Instagram video, Williams covers her breasts with her hands while singing a version of Australian band The Divinyls' 1991 hit in support of Breast Cancer Network Australia. Legendary Chicago blues guitarist Otis Rush, whose passionate, jazz-influenced sound influenced generations of musicians, has died. He was 84. His longtime manager Rick Bates says Rush died Saturday of complications from a stroke suffered in 2003. Rush was a key architect of the Chicago "West Side Sound" in the 1950s and 1960s. His first recording in 1956 on Cobra Records, "I Can't Quit You Baby" reached No. 6 on the Billboard R&B Charts and catapulted him to fame. He won a Grammy for Best Traditional Blues Recording in 1999 for "Any Place I'm Going." Rush was inducted into the Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 1984.
