In what may come as a surprise for the fans of American actor-singer Noah Cyrus and her ex-boyfriend and American rapper Lil Xan, the two are all set to be seen together in their official music video titled 'Live or Die'.The two went through a messy, and super awkward public breakup, that was all over social media. American actor Angelina Jolie is all set to treat her fans with her upcoming film titled 'The Kept', which is a period revenge thriller.Jolie will also produce the film version of the novel with Alice Birch penning the adaptation, reported Variety. Imperative Entertainment recently acquired the rights of the 2014 novel, which was written by James Scott and originally published by HarperCollins Publishers.The story will be set in the winter of 1897 as shown in the novel and it will follow a trio of killers who originate from an isolated farm in upstate New York. Japan's Murakami snubs 'alternative' Nobel prize

: Aimed at creating more awareness on the use of surveillance cameras, city police commissioner A K Viswanathan released a short film Monday promoting the cause. The film 'Third Eye', produced by popular comedian Vivekh, was formally released at a function by Viswanathan and the first copy of the CD was received by actor Vikram who also plays the lead role, a police release said. It was decided to come out with a film to encourage more people to set up surveillance cameras in their neighbourhood, the release added.

Veteran Malayalam actor Captain Raju is dead

Veteran actor Captain Raju, who gave a new dimension to portrayal of villain roles in Malalyalam movies, died here Monday after prolonged illness, his family and film industry sources said. A former army officer, Raju, 68, is survived by his wife and a son. Also known for his character roles, the actor had featured in over 500 films, including in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Hindi, in his nearly four-decade long career. He was best known for his performances in superstar Mohanlal-starrer 'Nadodikkattu', 'Oru Vadakkan Veeragatha' and 'CID Moosa'. He had been undergoing treatment after suffering a stroke during a flight to the US two months ago, the sources said. After brief hospitalisation in Oman, he was brought here in July and continued treatment at a private hospital. Raju was later discharged from the hospital and there was no considerable improvement in his health. His end came this morning due to a cardiac arrest, the actor's relatives said.
