Actor Emma Thompson has revealed that her daughter, Gaia Wise, was once sexually harassed on public transport. Speaking on BBC Radio 4's Woman's Hour, Thompson, 59, said the incident happened last year when the teenager was travelling on the London Underground. "My daughter had the experience of being felt up on the tube and felt very nervous about going out on the tube for a long time afterwards," Thompson said. Noted Malayalam film director K K Haridas passed away at a private hospital here today following some heart related ailments, his family members said. He was 55 and is survived by his wife and two children. Haridas was rushed to the hospital after he complained of some uneasiness, but passed away at 11.30 AM, they said. Haridas, born in Mailapra in Pathanamthitta district, had directed about 20 movies,giving more importance to comedy. His 1994 movie 'Vadhu Doctoraanu', starring Jayaram, was a box office hit. The cremation would take place at 10 AM tomorrow at Edapally here, the family members said.
