Akshay Kumar's 'Gold' to have IMAX release

Akshay Kumar's upcoming film "Gold" will be released in IMAX theatres in India and select international markets beginning August 15. The film, produced by Excel Entertainment, will be digitally re-mastered in the IMAX format. "It's very exciting that 'Gold' will be releasing in the IMAX format. It offers such a majestic experience. The film has been shot at such great scale and in IMAX, the experience will only be further enhanced," director Reema Kagti said in a statement. Excel Entertainment's Ritesh Sidhwani said watching the film in the IMAX format will be a great experience for the audience. Sam Heughan and Caitriona Balfe, who play fan-favourite Jamie Fraser and Claire Randall in period romance "Outlander", will travel to America in the new season of the show. Heughan unveiled the first look and the season 4 teaser trailer for Starz's hit series during a fan event for his latest film "The Spy Who Dumped Me", at the IFC Center in New York, reported People magazine. Actor Jada Pinkett Smith is teaming up with daughter Willow for new music. The 46-year-old Girls Trip star said the song will be titled 'Dear Father', according to Billboard. "I actually have a song with Willow that we did together. It's called 'Dear Father' and we are still working on it. But it's pretty dope. 'Sanju' first Bollywood production to be presented at Poland's New Horizons Festivals

Rajkumar Hirani-directed "Sanju" has become the first production from Bollywood to be presented during the New Horizons Festivals, Poland. The biopic on actor Sanjay Dutt, in which Ranbir Kapoor played the title role, had its European premiere at the International Festival in Wroclaw on July 29. Hirani, who visited Poland at the special invitation of Consul of India in Poland - Kartikey Johri, said he was elated to be a part of the festival. Veteran Telugu film producer K Raghava, who started his career in the black and white era, died here due to old age-related ailments. He was 105. Bollywood remake of South superhit "Arjun Reddy", featuring Shahid Kapoor in the lead, is set to release on June 21 next year. Directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, who also helmed the original critically-acclaimed Telugu-language blockbuster, will go on floors next month.
