Busy Philipps has never watched 'Dawson's Creek'

Actor Busy Philipps has revealed she has never watched "Dawson's Creek", the American drama series in which she played the role of Audrey Liddell. The 39-year-old actor, who starred in the fifth and sixth seasons of the TV series, said she never felt much attachment with the show. "I never watched 'Dawson's Creek'. I didn't watch it before I was on the show and I barely watched it after I was on the show, so I don't have the same connection that other people have to it," Philipps told Porter Edit. The show may not have left much of an impression on the "I Feel Pretty" star, she did make great friends with co-star Michelle Williams. "It's so interesting that (our) friendship became basically mythological after that show. We had very few scenes together; (our characters) Jen and Audrey were unlikely friends. But in the last season, sometimes they would give us scenes together, just to make us happy," she said.

Emma Thompson says she was always paid less than her male colleagues. The 59-year-old actor-writer said women are still treated as "second-class citizens". She also advocated to publish salaries to reveal the gender pay gap. "I was always paid less than my male counterparts. Publishing figures is the first step. "It's a forensic way of looking at how women are second-class citizens, and I appreciate that because it's not emotional. This is the fact: this person does the same work for less money, and that's just wrong," Thompson told Good Housekeeping magazine. The Oscar-winning star urged women to be financially independent. "Earn your own living and keep your own money. It's your cash and you should always decide what to do with it," she said.

Hindi cinema has been churning out biopics one after the other, with a string of films such as "Super 30", "Manto", "Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi", a film on Olympic champion Abhinav Bindra
