ITI boy makes miniature models of Darjeeling Toy Train
A 24-year-old ITI boy, Anurag Lakandry, resident of Tindharia, has made miniature models of the famous Darjeeling Toy Train to popularise its glory to the world.Talking to ANI, Lakandry said, "I want to contribute to its glory. I use metal sheet and waste items. I started making toy train models and selling to the toy train lovers in the world."Anurag's brother Abhishek is also helping him to give proper shape to the models. They are making two or three Toy-Train models in a month with the help of metal sheet, unusable items.On the other hand, Abhishek said, "It's good that my brother is doing for our pride, it is already famous but recent political crisis down its market. Pass orders in 6 weeks on PIL seeking to revisit prohibition
The Madras High Court today directed the Tamil Nadu government to pass within six weeks orders on a PIL seeking to revisit its prohibition policy and retail liquor vending rules on relocating or setting up of state-run TASMAC liquor shops or bars in residential areas. The first bench, comprising Chief Justice Indira Banerjee and Justice Abdul Quddhose, gave the directive on a PIL by K Balu, the president of the Advocates' Forum for Social Justice. The petitioner submitted that the Tamil Nadu Liquor Retail Vending (in Shops and Bars) Rules do not stipulate any distance rule on location of liquor shops in residential areas. He said Tamil Nadu State Marketing Corporation (TASMAC) can locate retail vending shops next to a house, unmindful of the disturbance it might cause to families. So there should be some filters in locating the retail vending liquor shops/bars in residential areas, he said. The petitioner said authorities do not consider objections by the people in the .

Floating house sinks in Dubai's Burj Al Arab
A floating house reportedly sank near the popular Burj Al Arab hotel in Dubai on Friday.Lt. Col. Ahmad Atiq Burqibah, Deputy Director of the Search and Rescue Department Police told Gulf News: "We were alerted about the sinking of a floating house at around 12:30 pm (local time) without reporting any injuries.""We rushed to the scene and reached the area within eight minutes due to the high tide at that time. The waves were 6 to 8 feet high and the seas were rough. Nobody was injured in the incident," added Lt Col Burqibah.The divers of the Dubai Police searched underwater, for any survivours, but it was found to be empty."Nobody was inside or around the house, but this is a routine procedure followed by the Dubai Police to conduct a search even if we know nobody was there," Lt. Col. Burqibah said.He added that floating houses have anchors for support and suspect that the floating house might have drowned due to high tide.

An old mini off-road motorcycle belonging to The Beatles star John Lennon is set to be auctioned for over 30,000 pounds. The legendary singer's Honda Monkey-Trail Z50A bike was due to be sold through H&H Classics at the National Motorcycle Museum in Solihull, West Midlands, on March 4, Express.co.uk reported. Lennon used the now prized two-wheeler to move around his 72-acre Berkshire estate, where he put up during the time The Beatles disbanded. He later sold the bike to Henry Graham nine years before he was shot to death outside his home in New York in 1980, at the age of 40.
