IIT-Guwahati student on way to join Isis detained in Assam, says police

An IIT-Guwahati student who had allegedly pledged allegiance to ISIS and was travelling to join the terror group was detained at Hajo on Saturday evening, police said. The third offshore campus of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) is likely to be set up in Sri Lanka, according to sources.
