Foreign investors now trust India story: London Stock Exchange

The central government and regulators have stepped up engagement with foreign investors, for enabling home companies to raise funds from the international market, said senior executives of the London Stock Exchange (LSE), in an interaction with Business Standard. According to Darko Hajdukovic, head of analytics, funds and fixed income, and Lillian Georgopoulou, fixed income product specialist of the exchange, investors have started trusting the India story. They now believe they will be repaid their money after completion of the tenure of the instruments they have invested in.
