State-owned NBCC (India) plans to redevelop the Delhi Development Authority (DDA) staff quarters in two colonies at an estimated cost of Rs 775 crore. In a statement on Friday, NBCC said that it has signed two separate Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the DDA for the comprehensive redevelopment of DDA staff quarters located at Old Rajinder Nagar (ORN) and Safdarjung Development Area (SDA), New Delhi. The redevelopment will be implemented on a self-sustainable model. The MoUs were signed in the presence of N Saravana Kumar, Vice Chairman, DDA and K P Mahadevaswamy, CMD, NBCC. The MoUs entail the development of a built-up area of 1.66 lakh sq metre in both the projects at a total project cost of close to Rs 775 crore. Currently, 117 dwelling units at Old Rajinder Nagar and 152 dwelling units at Safdarjung Development area are being utilised as staff quarters by DDA. In a regulatory filing on Monday, the company informed that it has secured a Rs 498.30-crore order from Damodar Valley Corporation. The order pertains to the construction of an integrated township at Chandrapura Thermal Power Station, Chandrapura, Jharkhand. Recently, NBCC Ltd has reported a 25 per cent increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 156.68 crore for the September quarter on higher income. Its net profit stood at Rs 125.13 crore in the year-ago period. The total income rose to Rs 3,017.15 crore in the July-September period of the current fiscal year from Rs 2,512.95 crore in the year-ago period. In a statement on Monday, NBCC said it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd (HUDCO) to "execute transformative development projects in Panchkula, Kaushambi, Ahmedabad and New Delhi." The MoU was signed by Sanjay Kulshrestha, Chairman and Managing Director of HUDCO, and K P Mahadevaswamy, Chairman and Managing Director of NBCC. Under this agreement, NBCC will develop a commercial complex at Kaushambi in Ghaziabad, an integrated redevelopment of HUDCO's land parcel at Panchkula, in Haryana and construction of new blocks at HUDCO's Regional Office in Ahmedabad. It would also include the reconstruction of residential flats at the Asian Games Village Complex in the national capital. State-owned NBCC Ltd has secured a contract to develop and market a 95-acre mixed-use project in Rajasthan with an estimated investment of around Rs 3,700 crore. In a regulatory filing on Monday, the company informed that it has been "selected as the lead agency to design, build, and market the Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Centre, Global Capability Centre (GCC) Tower, IT Tower, luxury hotels, and new commercial and residential infrastructure on 95 acres of Rajasthan State Industrial Development & Investment Corporation (RIICO) land". The land is located along the B2 Bypass, Tonk Road. The Rajasthan government has approved this project, with an overall estimated investment of about Rs 3,700 crore, it added. Rajasthan Mandapam Convention Centre, having a total capacity of 7,500 seats, is proposed to be developed on about 25 acres of land. State-owned NBCC (India) Ltd has reported a 26 per cent increase in its consolidated net profit to Rs 135.03 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal on higher income. Its net profit stood at Rs 107.19 crore in the year-ago period. The total income grew to Rs 2,465.48 crore during the April-June period of 2025-26 fiscal from Rs 2,196.20 crore in the corresponding period of the preceding year, according to a recent regulatory filing. In a statement on Wednesday, NBCC said it has signed a strategic Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mahatma Phule Renewable Energy and Infrastructure Technology Ltd (MAHAPREIT). This collaboration aims to jointly undertake a wide range of consultancy, fee-based, EPC and redevelopment projects from concept to commissioning, it added. NBCC said it will be entering into redevelopment for the first time in Maharashtra after having great success in transforming the landscape of Delhi through this unique redevelopment model. Under this partnership, NBCC and MAHAPREIT will collaborate on key infrastructure projects in Maharashtra, including cluster development projects in Thane Municipal Corporation, data centres, renewable energy initiatives, slum rehabilitation projects in the Mumbai
