Patna Pirates on Tuesday became the fifth team to qualify for the Pro Kabaddi League playoffs after registering a come-from-behind 38-36 victory over Telugu Titans in a thrilling match here. Arjun Deshwal put up a magnificent performance as Jaipur Pink Panthers secured a Pro Kabaddi League semi-finals spot after a 67-30 victory over U.P. Yoddhas here on Monday. Deshwal top-scored with 20 raid points and defenders Sunil Kumar and Ankush contributed with High 5s. Mahipal picked up a couple of raid points as the Yoddhas inched 3-2 ahead in the fourth minute. The impressive Puneri Paltan thrashed a below-par Tamil Thalaivas 56-29 to enter the semifinals of the Pro Kabaddi League Season 10 here on Sunday. Tamil Thalaivas edged out UP Yoddhas 32-25 to stay afloat in the race to the Pro-Kabaddi League (PKL) play-offs here on Tuesday. Thalaivas' star raider Narender scored an impressive 'Super 10', while the team skipper and star defender Sahil Gulia got a 'high five', as they moved to eighth in the points table, just two places below the play-off spots. Sumit came up with some fine raids, also complemented by Gagana Gowda and Mahipal, which resulted in UP Yoddhas' crucial 38-23 success over U Mumba here on Saturday. U Mumba came up with multiple changes throughout the encounter which did not help the side in any way, despite Shivam's coming up with five points from off the bench.
