JEE-Main results out: 2 candidates secure 100 score, 3 from Rajasthan

Twelve candidates have bagged the perfect 100 score in engineering entrance exam JEE-Main 2026, with the maximum of them hailing from Rajasthan, the National Testing Agency (NTA) announced on Monday. More than 13.04 lakh candidates had appeared for the first edition of the crucial exam. Among the candidates who have secured an NTA score of 100, three are from Rajasthan, two from Andhra Pradesh and one each is from Delhi, Bihar, Odisha, Haryana, Maharashtra, Gujarat and Telangana. All the 12 candidates are male. According to officials, the NTA score is not the same as the percentage of marks obtained but normalised scores. "NTA scores are normalised scores across multi-shift papers and are based on the relative performance of all those who appeared for the examination in one shift. Facebook India profit jumps 28% to ₹647 cr in FY25 on strong revenue growth

Facebook India has posted around 28 per cent increase in standalone profit at Rs 647.45 crore for financial year ended March 2025, according to the company's regulatory filing shared by Tofler. The company had logged a profit of Rs 504.93 crore a year ago. Revenue from operations grew 25 per cent to Rs 3,792.91 crore in FY2025 from Rs 3,034.82 a year ago. "The company's total expenses for the fiscal were reported as Rs 2,881 crore," Tofler said. Employee expenses of Meta-owned Facebook India Online Services Private Limited grew 36 per cent to Rs 648.57 crore during the fiscal as against Rs 476 crore a year ago. The company's tax expense was higher by 46 per cent to Rs 305.18 crore in FY2025 from Rs 209.2 crore in FY2024. According to an analysis by the market intelligence firm Tofler, the operating margin of Facebook declined marginally and net margin inched up to 16.9 per cent in FY2025.

Rallis India, a Tata enterprise, on Thursday reported a 4 per cent growth in its profit after tax at Rs 102 crore during the quarter ended September 2025, compared to the same period of the previous year. ICICI Lombard General Insurance on Tuesday reported 29 per cent growth in profit after tax at Rs 747 crore for the first quarter of the current fiscal. The private sector insurer had a profit after tax (PAT) of Rs 580 crore in the April-June period of 2024-25 fiscal year. Total income rose to Rs 6,083 crore during the June quarter FY26, from Rs 5,352 crore a year ago. Gross written premium was higher at Rs 8,053 crore as against Rs 7,931 crore in the year-ago period. HDFC Bank is confident of growing its advances on par with the industry in the current financial year and exceeding it next year, Managing Director & Chief Executive Officer Sashidhar Jagdishan said in a message to stakeholders.
