The AIFF developmental squad has been better than what the current league table indicates. Luis Norton de Matos' team have 15 points from 16 games but to their relief, they have immunity from relegation as per league rules. Aizawl, the surprise champions of last year are currently seventh in the table with 18 points from 15 games but more importantly have gone winless in their last eight games in which they have managed only five points. Having taken over from Paulo Menezes, this will be seasoned Santosh Kashyap's first match at home ground. 'Blown away' Swede Myhrer wins shock Olympic slalom gold

Swedish veteran Andre Myhrer captured a shock slalom men's gold at the Pyeongchang Winter Olympics today as the two favourites both spectacularly bombed out. Ramon Zenhaeusern of Switzerland won silver, 0.34sec behind, and Michael Matt of Austria the bronze after his countryman Marcel Hirscher and then Henrik Kristoffersen of Norway crashed out. It later transpired that Kristoffersen vomited before he started his ill-fated second run. Myhrer, at 35 years and 42 days, becomes the oldest man to win a slalom Olympic medal, breaking the record set by Austria's Mario Matt -- Michael's brother -- in 2014. He also follows his "idol" Ingemar Stenmark, who won the slalom and giant slalom in 1980, as only the second Swedish man to claim a Games alpine skiing crown. "It means everything. I've been training my whole life for a moment like this," said the unheralded Swede. "I took a medal in Vancouver (2010), a bronze, but I've been always dreaming about the gold medal and now it's a reality and ..

Andhra thrash Delhi to enter Hazare quarters

Delhi's much-vaunted batting line up fell like a pack of cards as unheralded Andhra Pradesh reached semi-finals of the Vijay Hazare Trophy with a six-wicket victory here today. Medium pacer Siva Kumar (4/29 in 10 overs) and left-arm spinner Bharghav Bhatt (3/28 in 7.1 overs) wreaked havoc as Delhi were skittled out for 111 in 32.1 overs. In reply, Andhra reached the target in 28.4 overs with Ricky Bhui (32) and Ashwin Hebbar (38) scoring bulk of the runs. Andhra opted to field on a wicket that didn't have any demons but none of the Delhi batsmen were willing to stay at the crease long enough to put up a substantial score. Unmukt Chand (4) was bowled by an incoming delivery from Siva while Gambhir (8) gave a simple catch to B Sumath. Young Hiten Dalal (11) also played across the line to be castled with Delhi reeling at 33 for 3 in 9 overs. Siva, who bowled at late 120kmph, did nothing exceptional save pitching it up and Delhi batsmen didn't show requisite application. Nitish Rana (2) ..
