Dabang Delhi beat Bengal Warriors 37-31 in PKL
Bengal Warriors' unbeaten run in their home leg came to a halt after suffering a 31-37 loss against Dabang Delhi in a Pro Kabaddi League match here on Sunday. The BCCI on Sunday clarified that all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja was indeed fit for the ongoing Test series and his shoulder injury flared only after landing in Australia. Jadeja was included in the 13-member squad for the Perth Test but has not played since and according to the BCCI, he lacked "required intensity" while bowling during the net sessions. Chief coach Ravi Shastri revealed earlier in the day that Jadeja's shoulder injury took more time to heal than expected. It raised questions about the team's injury management as off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin also missed out on the Perth Test due to his respective injury. National champion Mahesh Mangaonkar of Maharashtra and Yash Fadte of Goa clinched the men's and under 19 boys titles respectively in the CCI Western India Squash Championship on Sunday. Top seed Mangaonkar got a walkover from arch-rival and second seed Vikram Malhotra, also from Maharashtra, who did not report for the final showdown as due to a right hamstring injury. A 14-year-old boy from Delhi, Arjun Bhati has won the 2018 US Kids Junior Golf World Championship which was held in Malaysia from December 18 to 21.Bhati defeated American golf player Axl Mohru by three shots to win the event which saw the participation of 29 countries.Speaking exclusively to ANI, the teenager said that he wants to be a number one golfer and win an Olympics gold for his country.
