Mumbai, Jun 06 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, Yoga Guru Baba Ramdev on Thursday urged people not to waste water and utilise every drop in the wake of dried water sources in Maharashtra. He said, "I request people not to waste water and also argue authorities to make arrangements." The Yoga Guru also lauded the Indian cricket team for beating South Africa in the ICC Cricket World Cup 2019 and advised players to practise yoga before entering the battlefield in order to improve the performance.

New Delhi, Jun 06 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, Shiv Sena leader Sanjay Raut said that he feels that the construction of Ram Temple will start. Raut said, "I feel this time Ram Temple's construction will start because if we don't, the country will stop trusting us. Two held for cow slaughter in UP's Moradabad

Moradabad (UP), Jun 06 (ANI): Two people were held and six were booked in connection with different cases of alleged illegal slaughter of bovines in Moradabad district of Uttar Pradesh. A total of eight bovines were rescued and a vehicle along with tools used for the alleged slaughter was recovered, the police said. "Police were carrying out a drive to prevent the illegal slaughter of bovines in the wake of Eid. We have booked five to six people and many bovines have been recovered in the last two days," Deputy Superintendent of Police Vishal Yadav said. According to the police, some people were allegedly slaughtering bovines in the jungle of Ganjheda Alam village in the district. When villagers got the information about the crime, they encircled the area and nabbed two people from the spot. Remains of bovines were found on the spot. Monsoon might reach late at some places: Skymet

New Delhi, Jun 06 (ANI): While speaking to ANI, Samar Chaudhary, Meteorologist at Skymet, on Thursday said, "Normal rainfall for pre-monsoon is 131.5 mm and recorded rainfall is 99 mm. This is the second time that normal rain is less an in 2012 we have recorded 31% less rainfall than normal. Data says it is the driest year in the past 65 years. Normal dates for monsoon in Delhi and nearby regions are last week of June but it may delay by 10-15 days to reach there." He further added, "Monsoon might reach late at some places by few days".

'Not nearly enough' progress made in immigration talks with Mexico: Trump

New Delhi, Jun 06 (ANI): Representatives of the United States and Mexico on Wednesday failed to reach an agreement on the immigration issue during high-stakes negotiations held at the White House, days before Washington would start imposing five per cent tariffs on all goods coming in from Mexico. TMC worker killed in Cooch Behar, party worker blames BJP

Five killed as car jumps divider and hits tempo in Gujarat

New Delhi, June 06 (ANI): Weak upper and lower body fitness can cause serious depression and anxiety in midlife women, a recent study suggests. Although several studies have previously linked depression in midlife women with self-reported low physical activity, this new study evaluates objective measures of physical performance in relation to depression and anxiety in premenopausal, perimenopausal, and postmenopausal women. Depression and anxiety are prevalent symptoms experienced by midlife women. This latest study of more than 1,100 women aged 45 to 69 years found, in fact, that 15 per cent of participants, especially those of younger age, reported depression and or anxiety. Findings were published in the Journal of the North American Menopause Society. Because depression can cause disability, reduced quality of life, mortality, and heart disease, researchers felt it was important to identify potentially modifiable risk factors that could reduce morbidity and mortality.
