Cabinet clears special scheme for control of foot and mouth disease for livestock: Prakash Javadekar

New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar on Friday informed about the schemes that the maiden Cabinet has approved. He informed that Cabinet cleared special scheme for Control of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) and Brucellosis. "The diseases of Foot and Mouth Disease (FMD) and Brucellosis are very common amongst the livestock; cow-bulls, buffaloes, sheep, goats, pigs. Around 30 crore cows and buffalo will be benefited by this scheme, 20 crore sheep and goats and over 1 crore pigs will be vaccinated by this scheme," Javadekar added.

New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): Union Minister of Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar on Friday informed about the schemes that the maiden Cabinet has approved. He informed that the Union Cabinet has cleared a pension scheme for traders and small businessmen. Crores of retail traders and shopkeepers will benefit from this decision. Cabinet approves extension of PM-KISAN scheme to all farmers: Narendra Singh Tomar

New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): While speaking in first Union Ministers' press conference agriculture and farmer welfare minister Narendra Singh Tomar announced extension of Pradhan Mantri-Kisan yojana to all farmers. The move is likely to benefit nearly 14.5 crore farmers.Narendra Singh Tomar said, "Union Cabinet has approved a new Central Sector Scheme, Pradhan Mantri Kisan Pension Yojana. It's a voluntary and contributory pension scheme for small and marginal farmers across the country. Central Govt will contribute to the pension fund in equal amount as contributed by the farmer." Government will reach 50 million farmers in the first phase. The farmers of the age group of 18 to 40 years will be able to join this scheme. After completing 60 years, he will receive a monthly pension of Rs. 3,000. Sarita Mehta, member of 'Biking Queens' will start biking expedition from Varanasi in the presence of Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on June 05. While speaking to ANI, Mehta said, "We will depart on June 5 from Varanasi. We will go to China from Nepal then after Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, and will cover all of the European Countries. New Delhi, May 31 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader and party MP from Udhampur, Dr. Jitendra Singh, on Friday assumed charge as the Minister of State in the Prime Minister's Office (PMO). Singh, who has also been allocated the Ministry of Development of North Eastern Region, Ministry of Personnel, Public Grievances and Pensions. Former foreign secretary Jaishankar takes charge as External Affairs Minister
