Raipur (Chhattisgarh), May 29 (ANI): Former Chhattisgarh chief minister Raman Singh on Wednesday said the 'sacrifice' of BJP workers, who got killed in poll violence in West Bengal, will not go in vain, and asserted that a "better" government will be formed in the state in coming elections. The senior BJP leader also said more TMC MLAs will be joining his party as they were unhappy with Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee.

66th Everest Day: People in Siliguri mourn deaths of mountaineers on Mt Everest

Siliguri (WB), May 29 (ANI): On 66th Everest Day, locals in Siliguri mourned tragic deaths of the mountaineers during the mountain expeditions in this month. At least 15 climbers including Indians have died during the Mount Everest expedition in the past few days. Tenzing Norgay had scaled the summit of the world's highest mountain for the first time on May 29, 1953. The day is internationally celebrated as Everest Day.

Demand of dates increases in Ramadan due to numerous health benefits

Barabanki spurious liquor case: Main accused arrested following an encounter

Payal Tadvi suicide case: All 3 accused arrested

Mumbai, May 29 (ANI): All three accused have been arrested in Medical student Payal Tadvi suicide case. Arrested accused are Bhakti Mehre, Hema Ahuja and Ankita Khandelwal. The accused will be produced in the Sessions Court. Body of Police Inspector found in his room in UP's Siddharthnagar
