Lucknow (UP), May 20 (ANI): After Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath requested Governor Ram Naik to dismiss Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party (SBSP) chief OM Prakash Rajbhar from UP cabinet. While speaking to ANI on the issue, OP Rajbhar said, "We welcome his decision. Chief Minister has taken a very good decision. He formed Social Justice Committee and threw its report in a dustbin, he didn't have spare time to implement it. I request him to implement Social Justice Committee's report as quickly as he took this decision today."
New Delhi, May 20 (ANI): Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijender Gupta on Sunday filed a police complaint against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal for alleging that the BJP is conspiring to assassinate him. Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia was also named in Gupta's complaint. The Aam Aadmi Party (AAM) has been accusing BJP of conspiring against Kejriwal, who himself alleged that his Personal Security Officer (PSO), who he said reports directly to BJP, can kill him.
Lucknow (UP), May 20 (ANI): Uttar Pradesh Governor Ram Naik accepted Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath's request and dismissed Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party chief Om Prakash Rajbhar from the post of Minister for Backward Class Welfare and 'Divyangjan' Empowerment in UP cabinet with immediate effect. 7 members of Suheldev Bharatiya Samaj Party including OP Rajbhar's son Arvind Rajbhar have also been dismissed from their services in committees set up by UP Government with immediate effect. Earlier, he claimed that he tender his resignation as minister on April 13. He has always been a critique of UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath.
Surat (Gujarat), May 20 (ANI): People across the religious spectrum thronged the streets late in the night here, as the city police allowed food outlets to operate till late for the whole month of Ramadan. In the spirit of the holy month, city Police Commissioner Satish Sharma in a recent notification has allowed food joints to operate late till night in the areas including Chowk Bazaar, Rander, Mahidharpura, Salabatpura, Navsari Bazaar, Sagrampura, etc. Markets of the diamond city gleamed as people hit the streets late in the night to savour various delicacies such as rangooni paratha, chicken, biryani, and khowsey. The police have also installed CCTV cameras to keep a close watch on any untoward movements. During this month, the devout observe rigorous fasting for about 30 days and do not consume food or water from dawn to dusk. They eat Sehri (a pre-dawn meal) and break their day-long fast with Iftar in the evening.
New Delhi, May 20 (ANI): President Ram Nath Kovind on Sunday paid floral tributes to former president Neelam Sanjiva Reddy on latter's birth anniversary at the Rashtrapati Bhavan. Reddy was India's sixth president and had served his post from 1977 to 1982. Reddy worked with three Prime Ministers - Morarji Desai, Charan Singh and Indira Gandhi. Hailing from Andhra Pradesh, Reddy was born on May 19, 1913.

The fully road-legal, four-wheel drive, features a 3D-printed chassis which weighs just 102lbs (46kg). The incident came days after a woman was allegedly gang-raped by five men in Alwar district, leading to outrage against the Ashok Gehlot-led Congress government in the state.

Srinagar (J-K), May 18 (ANI): Under the scheme Deen Dayal Upadhyaya-Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) by the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of J-K, along with partner training agencies has been providing skill training and placements to youth. Under this scheme, the youth enrolled for the training belong to the 18 to 35 age group. Trainees report a huge increase in their confidence and communication abilities. They feel confident on meeting the demands of work life. Women in particular have been significantly empowered by the schemes. Unemployed youth are now provided with jobs and skills. While speaking to ANI, a trainee said, "Earlier we had no idea about this training but after coming to this place we gained enough practical knowledge. Besides that we got free facilities including uniform and accommodation".

Alwar (Rajasthan), May 18 (ANI): A youth was beaten to death by relatives of a minor girl in Rajasthan's Alwar on Friday. Relatives alleged that the boy along with two of his friends had raped the girl on May 14. Police have detained two people in this regard. Further probe is underway.
