Sonia Gandhi files nomination from UP's Raebareli

Raebareli (UP), Apr 11 (ANI): UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi filed her nomination from Uttar Pradesh's Raebareli today as the Congress party's candidate for the Lok Sabha polls. Congress president Rahul Gandhi, daughter Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and son-in-law Robert Vadra were also present while she filed her nomination. However, the issues have been corrected wherever the malfunctioning was reported, he added. "There was an issue with Congress button in Shahpur, our staff replaced the machine. At another polling station BJP button wasn't working, we changed that also," District Magistrate Rahul Yadav told to ANI.

Smriti Irani files nomination from UP's Amethi

She filed nomination from Uttar Pardesh's Amethi constituency. Earlier the day, she performed 'havan' along with her husband Zubin Irani before going to the District Magistrate's office.
